Both the the Beauty and Challenges of our Community in Tree Haus…SNOW!
Snow Removal is essential to each of us to have access to our homes year around.
Tree Haus homeowners, with the Metro Board of Directors, have a responsibility to take care of the snow removal of our subdivision.
Please remember that the Tree Haus subdivision has windy roads, with steep inclines through out. The roads are challenging to manage and require all of us to be aware. As a quick resources, below is a summary of the Rules and Regulations that pertain to Snow in the Tree Haus Metro District:
3.7(b) Sewer Service: It is prohibited to direct hazardous waste, groundwater, snow-melt, or roof runoff into the District’s sewer system. Exceptions like garage floor drains require prior approval.
5.3 Maintenance and Repair: The District is responsible for maintaining subdivision roads (including snow removal, ditch work, and culvert repairs) if it legally owns them. Work may be done by District staff or contractors. For roads not legally owned, the District may choose to maintain them but will seek reimbursement from responsible parties.
5.7 Snow Removal: Residents must not pile snow from their property onto District-maintained roads or facilities. If they do, and it causes extra work or cost for the District, the resident will be charged, and a lien may be placed on their property to recover the costs.
